No Tariffs:

🇺🇸 As of November 4th we cannot get clear information about how much the tariffs on goods and shipping to the United States will be, so, at least temporarily, we will waive tariff charges on new orders and if a tariff is charged, CoolPiece will pay a bit more and absorb the entirety of it. Now customers with US addresses get the same deal as the rest of the world.

2025 brought many changes to pricing. Firstly the tariffs, as outlined above, but also…

Globally, in the years since the pandemic recession started, hair-wearing has been in a remarkable decline among men. The new smaller factory is working with significantly lower volume and therefore higher costs. All the best techs are over in our new facility. The product from this facility is of a higher quality than other online hairpiece stores who presumably use the few remaining larger factories.

However, we have not been able to offer oversize units or full wigs as we used to. Our hairpiece factory will not make them, meaning they are made by artisan home-workers only, and they are costing out at a level 2X the old cost, that would require a retail price of around $1,200 so we leave them off the menu.

Stock hairpieces are generally lower in price now, due to increased popularity and high production volume.


Satisfaction is guaranteed. Any issues will be fixed. or if you prefer, you can return a new unit for a refund. Please note: orders must be inspected by the customer within a few days of receipt to be eligible for warranty. An item you received long ago, even if still new, is not returnable.

We ask that you inspect your new stock or custom unit promptly upon receipt and report any issues that you see within a day or two of receiving it. Don’t leave it in the bag and bring up an issue or error long after you have received the item. We can only help you when you have recently received and inspected your new order.

Exclusions: If a custom order was made exactly per your specifications, it is not returnable solely on the grounds that your preferences changed.

Banks: Refunds do not include fees and charges that were charged to us by credit card processors or PayPal.

Shipping: Money paid for and spent on shipping is used and gone. This amount is not refunded.


Ready-Made stock hairpieces may be returned for a refund of the full purchase price, with the following restrictions:

  • The stock unit must not have been cut, trimmed to size, dyed, bleached or altered in any way.
  • The stock unit must be in as-new condition, ready to serve the needs of another client.
  • The stock unit must not have any trace of tobacco odor or perfume.
  • Stock C2 type base material is easily torn and if upon return we see damage, we cannot issue a refund but will offer a discount on a future order for C22 or C3.
  • What to expect: if you order a stock hairpiece in a certain color, and you don’t like the look of it, the price you paid for the unit itself is refunded upon receipt in perfect condition…
    • less $10 which is the bank commission we lose on your credit card/PayPal purchase, and
    • the below-cost discounted amount you paid for FedEx is not refunded, it’s gone, and
    • if we paid a tariff, we take the loss of that amount, and if we pay a restocking fee or sell the unit in a clearance sale, that’s also our loss.
  • So please order with careful consideration of the specs of the unit.

Custom CoolPiece orders:

  • A custom hairpiece or wig requires hundreds of hours of labor and the profit margin between cost and selling price is very small. This is why a client pays for their order before manufacturing begins.
  • A custom order may encounter production issues and take longer than predicted. This is not a reason for cancellation or refund. Ordering custom is a commitment to wait until it is finished.
  • We encourage clients who request custom work to stay with their intentions and not change their minds leaving us with a very expensive item that is only suitable for that one person. The client and the seller work and wait together in good faith. If you order custom, be 100% prepared to wait until it is finished, and then receive your unique unit made only per your specifications.
  • Upon receipt, if a client were to be disappointed in any aspect of the item that was made for them, and to the specs they ordered, then Custom-Made hairpieces may be returned in new, unworn, un-styled, uncut, condition for a refund of the full purchase price (ex-shipping), less banking/credit card fees incurred by the seller. This is our full guarantee and we will take the loss in such an event.
